How to Budget for Wedding Flowers and Bouquets

Anyone who is getting married or who has already gotten married can tell you that everything always ends up costing more than you expected or wanted it to. With such a big event, costs can quickly spiral out of control, leaving you cutting corners where you don’t want to or leaving you in more debt than you planned for.

If you are trying to focus on individual areas to restrain costs, one of the easiest areas is flowers. At first glance, it might seem that flowers aren’t anything you can control with the budget, but in reality, there is a lot you can do. By making conscious choices about price and availability it can be easy to stay within your flower budget. Once you learn the difference between flowers that are out of season are harder to get, making them more expensive, and flowers that are in season, and perhaps local and more affordable, you have all the power to control your flower costs. Look at it this way, if you stay in season, you can probably afford more flowers than you originally thought.
